‘When studying Saint Germain, above all, you should keep in mind that not only Casanova, Madame de Pompadour, the Countess of Adhémar, the historian Franz Graeffer, spoke about him as a historical figure, but also his life is torn between myths and legends, which makes it impossible to separate Him from it.
‘The Count of Saint Germain goes by various names and titles which, in some way, define who he is:

‘Master Saint Germain’s titles are not to impress or be accepted. “His Instruction” is plain and simple, and the one who is prepared to practice it accepts it regardless of titles.
‘Master Saint Germain. Saint Germain is called “Master” because he is an Adept of the Great White Brotherhood, the Spiritual Hierarchy of Shamballa, whose adherents, by tradition, are called “Ascended Masters.” They are Masters for having discipleship and directing an Āshram, which is the name by which an instructional community is designated, and which is where the students live.
‘“Prince Rákóczi.” He was a hereditary prince of the Hungarian Crown as the son of II Rákóczi Ferenc.
‘“Count of Saint Germain.” He bought this title for the town of San Germano in the Italian Tyrol to mislead the nobility about his Hungarian origin, and to make sure not to be persecuted for it. This title means: “Count” = Community or Brotherhood, “Saint” = Holy, Germain = Brother. The full title means “The Holy Brother of the Community.”
‘Chohan of the Seventh Violet Ray. Within the Spiritual Hierarchy of Shamballa, there are Seven Chohans or Directors of the “Seven Rays” for Earth. Master Saint Germain is the one who directs the Seventh Violet Ray of Liberation and the Ceremonial Order.
‘“Avatar Aquarius” or “Avatar of the Age of Aquarius.” He was crowned by the Planetary Logos on 1 May 1954 at Shamballa.
‘“King of the Golden Age,” “His Majesty.” This position that he will occupy during this age is much longer than the “Age of Aquarius.”
‘”Liberty God.” He is not a God in competition with the Supreme Being. This is a title for an Initiate who has obtained the 10th Initiation. Master Saint Germain achieved this by incorporating into his consciousness Amida Buddha, “The Infinite Light of Limitless Splendor.”
‘“The Hungarian.” Not only was he born in Hungary, but he also made his Ascension there.
‘“Master R.” The “R” is a sacred letter that means “head” and also “compassion.” In summary, “Head of Compassion.” This letter is intimately associated with Master Saint Germain for being the initial of his surname: Rákóczi.
Patron of Metaphysics. Since Metaphysics is based on Saint Germain’s Teaching, he is its Spiritual Father in the hidden planes.’
