Full Moon Festival

Life, as pure and unqualified energy, comes from the Unique Source, which is the Cosmic Logos or “Great Central Spiritual Sun.” From there, it descends to the Monad or Divine “I Am” Presence, and then to the “Inner Christ” or Soul to give life to the triple Physical-Vital, Emotional and Mental personality.

On each full moon, the Earth receives extra solar energy that produces a climax of physical and spiritual radiation, which allows the realization of a Festival on a cosmic level.

When the Moon is completely illuminated by the Sun, the human mind is in the most favorable moment to develop greater Internal Force, Wisdom and Divine Love. This approximately happens every twenty-eight days on the fourteenth day of the New Moon when the Earth is located exactly between the Sun and the Moon, and the visible hemisphere of the Moon reaches its greatest illumination. This indicates a free and unhindered alignment between our planet and our Sun Parents, Helios and Vesta.

For all this, the day of the full moon is the time of the month in which the Earth is receiving the highest radiation both physical and internal. That is why minds are clarified and it is appropriate to start projects with the desire that they prosper. It is also an advantageous period to practice group meditation in the service of humanity.

Through breathing and mental concentration, one can absorb these life energies, decreeing: “I AM ABSORBING AND EXPANDING THE REVITALIZING, RESUSCITATING AND RESTORING ENERGY OF THE GREAT CENTRAL SPIRITUAL SUN.”

The full moon day is a propitious moment to receive the energies of Good Will, Wisdom and Love, which come from the “Great Central Spiritual Sun,” and direct them to the consciousness of humanity as a means to collaborate with our planet’s  “Divine Plan of Perfection.”

In Metaphysics, although we are not moon worshipers, we celebrate the Full Moon Festivals as recommended by Master Djwhal Khul.

Each year has twelve days with a full moon, and the most important ones are:

1. The April full moon, the “Easter Festival” or Festival of Master Jesus, in which the radiation of Unity of this Being spreads throughout the Earth.

2. The May full moon, the Wesak or Lord Gautama Festival, in which his birth, Enlightenment, and Ascension, as well as his appearance in the Wesak Valley are celebrated.

3. The June full moon, the “Goodwill Festival,” in which Lord Maitreya recalls Lord Gautama’s Last Talk.

4. The July full moon, the “Ásala Festival,” in which Lord Maitreya recites Lord Gautama’s First Talk, with which he circulated the “Wheel of Teaching”.

5. The August full moon, the Festival of Sensible Lord Sirius, in which the best opportunities are presented to make a definite approach with the Divine “I Am” Presence, the Spiritual Hierarchy of Shamballa, its Etheric Retreats and the “Great Spiritual Central Sun.”

Each year, the full moons of these five months – April, May, June, July and August – mark the most significant moments in our planetary life. These periods of great superior outpouring constitute exceptional opportunities for the “Inner Self” to express. Thus, having more impetus within the human consciousness so that the “Buddhic Consciousness”  is expanded and the radiations of the Second Department of the Spiritual Hierarchy,  of the World Instructor, are increased.

In these five Full Moon Festivals, the radiations of five “Masters of Wisdom” are linked as in a golden chain: Master Jesus, Lord Gautama, Lord Maitreya, Sensible Lord Sirius as well as Master The Tibetan, who participates in all these festivals as “Director of the Council of Shamballa” and promoter of these five Festivals on Earth. In the remaining full moons, minor Festivals are celebrated of great energetic importance, though.
