Inner Self

The “Inner Self” is made up of three Consciousness states which are the first three qualities of the “Universal Being”: “Being, Consciousness and Well-being” or Sat-Chit-Ananda in Sanskrit. In addition, the “Inner Self” is covered by four sheaths. Therefore, the three qualities of the Being and its four sheaths are:

Being Or Monad

  1. Monad – Being in Itself – Sat – Blue Ray
  2. Atma – Consciousness of Being – Chit – Golden Ray
  3. Buddhi – Well-being – Ananda – Pink Ray

Sheaths

  1. Mental or Manas sheath
  2. Emotional or Astral sheath
  3. Vital or Etheric sheath
  4. Physical sheath

A human being doesn’t only have a “physical sheath” which is their physical body but also has their vitality which determines the state of health or illness, their emotions which determine the state of tranquility or excitation and their thoughts. These four sheaths build up the personality.

The “Inner Self” has three higher “Consciousness States”:

1. The “Being in itself”, named “Monad” or “I AM Presence”.

2. The “Consciousness of Being”, named “Atma”. By this “Consciousness State”, it’s possible to be one with all things from a grain of sand to a star through concentration, meditation, and contemplation. Thanks to this state, we can make ourselves one with what we wish, saying: “I Am one with you”.

3. The third consciousness state of Being, of absolute well-being is named “Buddhi”. The lack of well-being and happiness is generated by the human beings themselves with all their negative thoughts, feelings, words and actions.
