Seven Universal Principles

The “Seven Universal Principles” are laws that are inexorably fulfilled. If you respect them, you will live in harmony. On the contrary, if you don’t do it, you will suffer. These are grouped two by two: Mentalism and Cause and Effect, Rhythm and Vibration, Polarity and Generation, and Correspondence.

These principles are no orders to be fulfilled. To say that you must respect and obey these principles, it’s a mistake. When you comply with them, your life is in harmony, and you are fine. On the other hand, when someone breaks a law, it’ll cause trouble. The “Universal Principles” aren’t bad, but they work to warrant the harmonious functioning of the whole Universe. It’s our awareness or ignorance, use or not about these principles, which puts them to work for or against us. Ignorance of the law does not exempt compliance.

The principle of Mentalism states: “Everything is the mind. What you think and feel, it will be manifested”. Where your mind is, there you are.

The principle of “Cause and Effect” enunciates: “Every cause has its effect, and every effect has its cause. The effects depend on the cause. There is no effect without a cause, and no cause without an effect”. Everything you do to others will come back to you. Luck doesn’t exist, but causality does.

The “Principle of Vibration” declares: “Everything is in motion, everything vibrates”, moves, is impermanent, is not stable or eternal.

The “Principle of Rhythm” states: “Everything has a rhythm”. Everything comes and goes. Nothing is stable. Everything is impermanent. It flows and ebbs. It has its periods of advance and retreat. It has peaks and troughs. It moves like a pendulum. The measure of the movement to one side is the same as to the other side.

The “Principle of Polarity” affirms: Everything is dual. Everything has two sides, positive and negative, male and female. For something to be created or be manifested, it needs both sides. The opposites are identical in terms of their nature but different in degree. The ends touch each other. The paradoxes can be reconciled.

The “Principle of Generation” expresses: “Everything has its male and female principles to be generated and multiplied.”

The “Principle of Correspondence” says: “As it’s above, it’s below; and as it’s below, it’s above”. As it’s inside, it’s outside; and as it’s outside, it’s inside. As it’s on Earth, it’s in Heaven; and as it’s in Heaven, it’s on Earth. Each thing in existence corresponds with another thing.
